Energy Assistance

For Low Income Home Energy Assistance contact the McHenry County Housing Authority, 1108 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, IL 60098-1109 815-338-7752. 

Applicants must have the following documentation with them for the appointment:

• Proof of all income for all household members for the 30 days before the day of their appointment (includes, but is not limited to: paycheck stubs, Social Security income, Unemployment, SSI, TANF, General Assistance from Township)  
• Current Utility Bills – gas, electric, fuel oil, propane  
• Social Security Cards for all Household Members
