Greenwood Township is now accepting applications for the Planning Committee.  There will be two 3 year members and three 2 year members appointed. Once members are appointed, you will be assigned terms.  Planning Committee will then determine Officers of the Committee.  Applications are due no later than August 11, 2025. Township Planning Commission advises the Township Board on planning and development matters, prepares and updates the Township's comprehensive plan, reviews and recommends on zoning and land development proposals, and may conduct public hearings. They act as a citizen advisory board, ensuring land use decisions align with the community's vision and goals. This is a volunteer position.
